SBLC & project finance professional services

Credible Project Support Starts Here

We help project sponsors understand, organize, and present requests involving standby letters of credit, bank guarantees, and related support.

We are available and responding to inquiries.

01 / The support

An SBLC supports an obligation. It is not cash.

A standby letter of credit can support a payment or performance obligation under a real agreement. It has stated drawing conditions and does not guarantee that a project will receive funding.

A credible request

The project, parties, and supported obligation must make sense together.

A serious review starts with a real project and agreement, identifiable parties, a clear purpose, and information an independent institution can examine.

01

The underlying project

Describe what is being built, acquired, developed, or delivered, where it stands today, and what work or funding remains.

02

The parties and agreement

Identify the applicant, beneficiary, project sponsor, counterparties, and the agreement or obligation the proposed support would serve.

03

The proposed instrument

State the amount, currency, purpose, expected expiry, drawing conditions, and proposed delivery or advising route.

04

The review information

Be ready to provide the company, project, financial, compliance, security, and transaction information requested by the reviewing institution.

Independent review

A real process asks real questions.

The institution decides whether it will participate. A credible review may examine:

  • The project's purpose, current status, budget, and remaining need.
  • The legal identity, role, experience, and authority of each party.
  • The underlying agreement and the obligation being supported.
  • Requested wording, amount, currency, expiry, security, pricing, and timing.
  • Company, financial, compliance, and transaction information.

How MTF helps

Prepare the request for serious consideration.

We help explain the proposed support, organize the request, and communicate with independent institutions or providers.

  1. Explain the project

Clarify the project, parties, amount, current status, and obligation the instrument would support.

  2. Organize the information

Identify the agreement and the company, project, and compliance information needed for review.

  3. Present the request

Put the request into a clearer form for an independent institution or provider to consider.

  4. Confirm the final path

If approved, confirm the final wording and proper advising or delivery route with the participating institution.
